Wonderful accommodation, fantastic breakfast, marvelous views over countryside and golf course, super host, friendly and knowledgeable. We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay and will hopefully be back again. Thank you Lorraine.

Room Tip: Room 2 had very good views of fairway and green if you like golf

Thank you so much for your kind words. I am very grateful that you have taken time to post a review on this site. Hopefully see you again. The room and en-suite you stayed in are having a complete refurbishment along with room number one in a few weeks time.

Lorraine was a lovely host and very welcoming. The accommodation was superb and set in lovely grounds with good views over the fields and the Farm. The breakfast where excellent and filling with a good select. We will defiantly be returning in the future.

Thank you for posting a review Debbie. I hope that you and Martin have managed to enjoy some of the lovely summer weather that we have had since your stay earlier in the year. Lit the log burner in the guest lounge today - winter is on its way.

We chose this B&B because of the great reviews on trip advisor and we were not disappointed.

It is great as it is not too big, just a few minutes drive from the centre of Buxton (which is lovely) and has wonderful views. Inside it is very clean, rooms are comfortable and Lorraine is a wonderful host. Breakfast is great with a good choice and I wish we had stayed longer than two nights.

Perfect and we will definitely be back and recommending Barms Farm to others.

Lovely comments - many thanks as most appreciated and so pleased that you enjoyed your stay with us recently. Fab weather for you and your lovely family whilst here and I can report that we have had lots more ice-cream days since. I would be delighted to put you, your sister and parents up again if you decide to explore The Peak District and its delights further. Kind regards to the rest of your party.

Lorraine was delightful and made us feel so welcome. She also cooked an AMAZING breakfast which was just divine. A lovely bed and breakfast very handy for Buxton and surrounding villages. We will be back to stay for longer next time. Thank you Lorraine for a lovely break. Penny and Chris

Room Tip: Room number 1 was lovely with en-suite shower

Thank you so much for taking time to submit a review after your one night stay earlier this month. Pleased you rated my breakfasts so highly - I'll thank my chickens, Stanedge Grange Butchery and Charles McLeod for helping me out. Couldn't do it without quality suppliers. Hopefully see you both again soon

I stayed here for 2 nights as I was on a mini walking break in Buxton, it's a lovely place with a great room & bathroom which is not far off the same size as the bedroom which was nice as you don't get under each others feet. The breakfast was fantastic, you order what you want the night before & you get the choice of fresh fruit, yoghurt & granola before which is layed out on a separate table.

Despite what another review says about traffic noise I didn't hear it until I looked out the window & saw a car but at night you don't hear a thing.

Lorraine was really friendly & made us feel comfortable the second we walked through the door, she's also really helpful as she knows the area well.

Would definitely recommend & we're booking again for either later on in the year or next year.

So pleased that you enjoyed yourselves during your recent stay with us and that you managed to fit in so many things in only a short time - good pre-planning and helpful if the weather is on side. Hopefully see you and your lovely daughter again soon.
