“Excellent Venue for a Local Wedding Party or Inland Resort Trip”

Sevenways Guesthouse, Wes and The Staff couldnt have done more for us, We decided for MyFriends Wedding that we would use Sevenways Guesthouse as the Base for the Groom and Best Men on the Evening before the wedding, Check In was simple and straight forward late checkout was arranged for the day and some of the guests for the wedding stayed with us on the saturday night, Excellent Full english breakfast. The Best of it was we were from Buxton ourselves and were stunned that we have such a Jewel in our own Town that we never knew was there !
Many thanks once again Sevenways as a local we will tell friends and family afar.
Mike

When we arrived we were in awe of the house and gardens and could not believe how prettty this was for a guest house. We were greeted with a warm friendly welcome and checked in so smoothly with no fuss. Upon entering our room we found it to be immaculately clean and fresh smelling. The room was very spacious with a generous size bathroom with bath/shower facilities. Also provided was a wide flatscreen TV/DVD player and coffee/tea making facilities with biscuits, what we found to be a nice touch. The kingsize bed was heaven as it was so comfortable and cozy and we had an amazing nights sleep better than we do at home. In the morning breakfast was excellent and very quickly prepared. There was lots to choose from. Afterwards the weather wasnt so good so we sat in the gorgeous lounge with open log fire which we found to very relaxing. The location is so beautiful and peaceful and very convenient for the town centre and it also provides plenty of car parking spaces .We would recommend this to anyone who was wishing to visit around this area as it is one of the best places we have ever stayed in. We will definately be returning!!!

I stayed there with my partner Ben in june We were warmly welcomed by the staff. The house is amazing with its solid wooden beams and oak doors with its solid arts and crafts handles. We stayed in room 7 its a beautiful room with attached bathroom and oak window frame withleaded windows and gorgeous leaded windows. We had a brilliant time and will definently be back soon!

We stayed three nights and couldn't fault the place. The staff were very helpful from the minute we arrived. The location is ideal for those that want to walk into Buxton or have children that can utilise the wonderful park. The breakfast selection was good and the number of places to eat nearby was excellent and catered for all tastes - I would recommend the Officers Club (near the Theater) for good pub grub at a very good price.

I loved this place from the moment I stepped through the door. It is full of olde worlde charm. Lovely comfortable beds. Baths and showers that really work! Great choice of breakfast in the morning from cereals, fresh fruit, wonderful fruit salad with strawberries, kiwi fruits and others tropical bits and bobs. Full English, Croissants, Toast, it fairly sets you up for the day and I didn't want anything to eat until the evening. Aidey the manager was so helpful. I think it was a great pity that I was only there for two days and that I was working too. We will be going back next year as soon as we have the dates for our festival. I want to book my room quickly as I have a feeling it will become more difficult to get into. This was so convenient to the Pavilion Gardens - a stones throw away. Thank you so much for a truly wonderful stay with lovely hosts. Love Jan xxx

My partner and i stayed for just the one night but if we could have we would have stayed for longer!
When we arrived, we were greeted by Aidey who made us feel really welcome and gave us some information on the local area; he later he came to our room to make sure that everything was to our satisfaction and was the perfect host.

The room was on the top floor and was very spacious with king size bed, sofa, tea and coffee making facilities and a hugh wide screen tv and dvd player. My partner said he had the best nights sleep he ever had as the bed was so soft and comfy. The room also had a beautiful window looking out to the front of the property and the main road.

The en-suite was perfectly amicable with large bath and shower, the only small negative thing we could find was the water system was quite noisy but not worth complaining about as it was such a small niggle!

In the morning we were greeted by an almost unlimited choice of breakfasts which we had everything you could wish for from full english to toast, cereal, mixed fruit, crossiants, yoghurt, tea, coffee, orange juice all served as a buffet (except full english which was specially prepared).

The building itself was beautiful and was kept immaculately clean and tidy.
We agreed that it was a perfectly original English B&B, well suited to it's location. Very close to the town centre - only a 5-10 minute walk through the lovely park with gardens and ponds.
Very romantic!

We felt our stay was perfect in every detail. Our stay was quiet, private and peaceful in beautiful surroundings.
We will definately be recommending to our family and friends and hopefully will visit again.

We arrived about 5.30pm stayed for one night only and left after breakfast
the following morning.
On arrival we were met by Ade (?) who was very welcoming and friendly. He gave us a map of Buxton town center and explained where some pubs and restaurants were.
We had room 5 which was clean and tidy. The bathroom had an electric shower although the hot tap water was only luke warm. The beds were comfortable although I could have done with a cooler quilt. The weather was very good for our stay although in the evening it was a little cool and the convector heater struggled to take the evening chill away. The guest lounge is a little sparse and could do with brightening up.
Breakfast was fine. A cereal starter followed by a cooked breakfast. The house is very nice and the car parking on site adequate. Local walks thorough the park and round the town center are lovely.
I've read some of the earlier comments and can only presume the owners are working on house. Certainly we had no problems.
I tend to agree with the recent comments and would have no problem recommending this B&B based on our short stay.
