Excellent hotel - Staff very friendly - extremely helpful and caring - nothing too much trouble. Hotel very clean and tidy. Excellent breakfast - again staff in restaurant very helping, everything very clean and tidy.
Did request a quiet room at back (as seen on Trip Advisor) and staff more than happy to accommodate this request.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Efficient check-in / out. Comfortable room, no road noise despite proximity to busy road. Handy to have Beefeater next door and breakfast was fine, but we did need to book a time in advance as the hotel was busy.

Premier Inn....Does what is says on the tin!!! We had no problems, nice standard room, comfortable bed and all very clean. There were a couple of issues with other guests as people were complaining when we walked past reception but we have nothing to complain about.Staff pleasant and friendly, booked us in quickly. Had asked for a quiet room and got one. Close to main road so maybe you would want to consider when booking. Would we use it again....Yes.

Room Tip: Ask for quiet room as close to busy main road

Arrived at 2,
Due to one of the housekeeping staff having to go home unwell they were a little behind, We were informed of this and asked if we minded a room on the first floor as the one allocated to us wasn't ready, that was no problem, asked if we would like to book for breakfast as it gets very busy, Very friendly, helpful staff, room excellent, clean, bed comfortable. Would stay again

Normally very happy with this brand of hotel. The web page did say it was close to a main road but that the hotel was protected from the noise of cars and lorries. Not so I'm afraid. This is the first time I've not had a good night at a PI. Rooms and staff all ok but you need to ask for a room away from the main road!

Omg where to start? After myself and my 15year old daughterhad a horrendous personal issue we found ourselves at basildon south premier inn. From the moment we arrived and greeted by stacey who actually was covering from southend branch while vicky was on holiday, we were treated like royalty. All the staff in the hotel were brilliant. But special thanks to sara and vicky for great understanding and wonderful attitude. On the restaurant side massive thanks to steve rose, kim, linda and sll the polite hard working staff there. On the bar side, big thanks to brian, kieran, dave, steve, lewis etc again for wonderful service second to none. Even bringing choc fudge brownis to our room when my daughter wanted late feast. I know ive missed lots of names here and im sorry for that because all these staff deserve a mention. The cleaners and laundry staff too...Thanku all of you for your wonderful efforts which are truly 5star..

Premier Inn should be proud of the way this outlet is run. From the moment we arrived nothing was too much trouble for the staff. A very friendly welcome, help with our luggage, great atmosphere alround. The Beefeater run food outlet was great too. Only one slight complaint, the parking for disabled was I felt poor. pulled in the driveway straight into the first disabled bay, great. Only to find out this was parking for the restraunt. The hotel entrance parking was round the building, could have been sign posted and made clear. An car hire company had abandoned a car in the first space and the only other space space was also takem by an obviousy fit person, never mind. Will definitely stay again. Anybody with an appointment at Basildon Hospital this Premier Inn/Beefeater is ideally situated.
