A clean, friendly bed and breakfast with a great breakfast and real attention to detail. This is not a country retreat location, but Hanwell House has everything you
need for a comfortable stay.

Jan and Nigel are wonderful hosts and double as tourist guides!

One of best B&B's I've come across in England. Jan was very welcoming and provides an excellent service. The bedroom was great, felt like I was in my own bed at home. Very comfortable and plenty of tea/coffee and homemade biscuits. Breakfast was a real treat, catered for my special diet. Very reasonable price so I'll definitely be back!

This is a great find - situated just on the outskirts of Banbury so quiet. The house is Jan and Nigels home which is partly what makes it so homely.
Every last detail has been applied to the bedrooms, the hotel inspector would find a visit here to be a total waste of time ! They are spotlessly clean and comfortable, lovely toiletries supplied as well as great home mad cookies.
The breakfast is as huge as you want it to be, freshly cooked with all locally sourced produce. Lovely home made jams and super lemon curd - I was tempted to eat it by the spoonful but that would have just been greedy!
Certainly a place to be recommended.

Room Tip: One is not en suite but has it's own bathroom two steps away.

If looking for a B/B in Banbury for sure Hanwell House is the right place to be.

Since the beginning Jan and Nigel have been there to make the stay the best as possible and they did.

Very nice welcome and excellent breakfast together with very comfortable and nice rooms made the stay very pleasant.

In the 2 months which I have spent there, it was like being at home. I will recommend anyone to enjoy the experience.

On my side, I will be there once again in late April.

Thanks Jan & Nigel.

See you soon.

Pablo

It was a pleasure to stay at Hanwell House whilst on a course nearby. The owners are incredibly friendly and helpful. Breakfast is whatever you want (ordered the night before) and during my stay the other guests were delightful making it a real home from home. Would definitely stay again.

I've just spent a week at Hanwell House and I enjoyed the experience immensely. Jan provides all the facilities of a major hotel but with the welcome and charm of a first-class B&B.

It really is like being at home and that you are 'part of the family'. The quiet room was great (with en-suite shower and toilet), comfortable bed, plenty of space for your clothes and luggage and scrummy home-made cookies to go with your tea or coffee..

There's an abundance of choice for breakfast with local produce (great sausages) and excellent conversation around the breakfast table with other residents! Jan is a most attentive hostess and keen to make sure that all whims are catered for.

Easy parking and good access to Warwick where I was working for a week.

Above-all-else Jan and her husband Nigel make you feel like a friend not a guest. What more could you ask for in overnight accommodation?

Room Tip: Just call Jan on the phone and she'll talk you through what's available. I stayed in Croperd...

I ahve stayed here several times and it's always the same, great hosts, great breakfast and very warm and comfortable room, what more could you possibly want in B&B!!!!

Jan & Nigel are great hosts and it's no surprise that they get "regular" guests.

Room Tip: Take any room you can, you'll be lucky to get one as they are often booked up !!!!
