The service is very slow and the staff seemed to be reluctant to step up to the counter . Two of us chose jacket potatoes as the salad and sandwich fillings looked dried out , as if they had been standing a long time. My friend had macaroni cheese. It looked nice under the hot lamp , but underneath it was dried out and all stuck together .
Drinks take even longer , so I would advise getting them before food so that your food stays warm . The restaurant area itself is nice and big and light .
I might have a coffee , but I would not eat here again.

Used to come here every month for their complimentary tea and nice desserts.

However coming here recently has disappointed me. They used to use their own in house tea which were fragrant and authentic.

Now they use the cheap and nasty Twinnings which are awful, didn’t the management wanted to run the business into the ground and go for cheap over quality.

The desserts are also smaller and not as nice as well.

Last time I will come here.

So much potential, but fails to live up to it. The cafe is very large, with plenty of seating, and a great choice of food. It’s a nice spot with some good outside seating areas and a small play area for kids. But the seats outside which should have cushions (they are the rattan type chairs with padded cushions) don’t have the cushions on, so are really uncomfortable and it makes the place look scrappy. Also used the toilets which were very unclean to the extent that I didn’t want my 5 year old to sit on the toilet.

A real shame as the place has great potential in a nice setting and a good shop to wander around. Just needs a bit more effort to make a massive difference.

Used to love going here for a cake and coffee but having been recently the cakes have really reduced in size! They are small whereas when they first opened they were humungeous! (not that I necessarily want to eat cake but that's what made this restaurant so appealing). There is often a lack of condiments and not enough staff - but staff that are there are lovely. It's an ok place but not above average anymore.

Had excellent afternoon tea with the family. First class service by the young man Jake and a lovely decorated birthday cake done by the lady in the bakery.

Thank you.
