We took a 5 yr old and a 6yr old and they both had a fantastic time. On entering the staff were friendly and helpful and the surroundings clean and tidy. The children were given clear instructions to follow and the instructors tailored this to their age so they both understood the do's and don'ts and all the safety aspects. An hour flew past, the instructors were very encouraging and the children got more daring as time went on. After an hours climbing they were allowed 10 mins either on the inflatable dumper truck or playing crazy golf which they both enjoyed. We were told when we booked on the phone to wear lots of layers as it's cold in the climbing room and it certainly was especially when standing and watching. There is the option to watch whilst having a coffee upstairs behind glass but we decided to stay with the children as it was their first time. I would highly recommend ready2climb, it was great value for money, very enjoyable and we will definitely be visiting again soon!! A great addition for children and adults alike!!!

I found out about ready2climb from a friend who's daughter had been to a party there, tucked away on the trading estate with ample parking (on a Saturday Lunchtime anyway) it was easy enough to find.
Initial reception is very pleasent, it would be advisable to ring and check for availability if you have a larger group but as we were an adult and one child we tagged on for a climbing session with a group there for a birthday party.
After an initial safety brief and putting on Harnesses we were climbing!
The climbs are varied and as challenging as you want to make them, from easy to more difficult, the knowledgable staff offer encouragement and tips to make the most of your hour on the climbs.
The number of climbers is controlled so as to enable all participants to have a climb without un-necessary standing around waiting.
Initially it seemed chilly in the main climbing hall, but soon warmed up when you started to climb.
Obviously wear suitable clothing and footwear.
We took advantage of the deal to try all the attractions, body Zorbing, mini golf and the inflatable truck, these were ok but the climbing is the main attraction.
Others have mentioned a caving experience but I didn't see this, perhaps removed or I just never noticed.
An hour seemed to fly by but I'm not sure my arms or fingers would take any more than that, lol
We had a drink and a snack when we had finished.
Well worth a visit, and we will again.

Hi, thanks for your review.

The caving experience was only available for a few weeks during October Half Term as it was a demonstration cave on loan from our supplier.

What a fantastic place !
Friendly, knowledgeable staff.
Safe, fun, challenging walls, tunnels and adventure at the most superb price of only £11 for 2hrs 30mins.
Nothing compares. Great opportunity to get involved and join in with the kids. Or sit and have a relaxing coffee and watch through the window. Cannot rate R2C high enough and wish them lots of luck for the future.
Our 2 girls aged 12 and 6 can't wait to go back. Neither can we.

We brought our very picky & full of energy 6 yr old. She had a blast & we laughed non stop. Great people running it & tea/coffee/cake lovely and good value. £7.50 for a tired/happy child, what's not to like. We will be back!

Good value for money it was £7.50 for use of all the climbing walls. They did this for a 1hour session and there were experts on hand to offer advice & help where needed. A safety talk was given prior to climbing & it was suitable for children & adults.
There was also a inflatable tractor slide, mini golf & body zorbing available & the children were able to choose one of these to enjoy after their climbing session which was included in the £7.50. These activities were also available for £1 for younger siblings or for those not wanting to climb.
There was also an option to buy a ticket for £9 which included all of the above.
A caving experience was also available for £2.
Overall there was lots to do under one roof!
The staff were polite & friendly and the facilities were clean & there were toys & a playpen available in the cafe area for younger children.
