a very short stroll from worthing town centre brings you to the towns Pier, if you are expecting arcades, rides and kiss me quick hats move along another 12 miles east.
Instead, you are greeted by a couple of ice cream kiosks at either entrance, the pavillion theatre and the Denton Lounge. Admire the artwork along the Pier, its free and there all year round! another little coffee kiosk greets you half way along the pier before you reach the splendour of the South Pavillion, once the worst nightclub in town now a beautifully restored building housing a great coffee bar and cafe and wedding venue. Take your coffee/ beer outside and sit watch the sun go down in the west! Perfect!

The cafe at the end of the pier has indeed been restored to it's former art-deco glory and it's awfully well done. Good value light meals and drink and friendly staff. A very nice place to simply relax and look out to sea or to meet friends. Would recommend.

Wow what an impact as you enter the cafe at the end of the pier. No longer a nightclub frequented by the youth of a worthing it's now being restored to its original beauty. Had coffee with a friend looking out across the sea, so lovely. The service was a little mediocre but coffee and scone were good.

Went on the pier on Sunday with the sun shining. Grabed an ice cream and just sat for an hour watching the world go by. A very relaxing hour, would recommend it (but only when its warm and the sun is out!!)

Worthing Pier is a lovely place, to sit in the sun on a glorious sunny day, to just stroll around, to people watch, and the latest attraction which has recently opened the far south pavilion, it is mainly a venue for Weddings but the rest of the time open for light meals, afternoon tea or drinks, it has been stunningly brought back to life and decorated art nouveau style. There is a pavilion half way up with slot machines which is mainly popular for teens, it is also popular with men fishing, another sweet little cafe for teas and icecreams also half way up,but mostly a quiet and relaxing lovely pier.
