Visited after original plans had fallen through. However, it was a wonderful day. The gardens were beautiful and good for all ages.

A real inspiration. The gardens are not so big, but designed in a way that makes it feel bigger. Always interesting displays, a real inspiration for your own garden as nothing too fancy. Also, wonderful play in July.

This is a lovely place to unwind. There are several different area to the gardens from an intimate, quiet garden behind the bungalow to formal beds, with an area formed from an old quarry. The wall of the quarry rises above you with trailing roses and others plants cascading down it. I wondered if the hanging gardens of Babylon were anything like it. There are numerous seats for tired legs to take a rest.
A pleasant place to spend an hour or two.

For my niece's 2nd birthday, we held a family picnic in Highdown Gardens. It was a beautiful sunny June afternoon and the setting could not have been more perfect. We were in a secluded part of the gardens, that are surrounded by beautiful plants and flowers and a pond
