Set on a hill on chalk soil hidden from view you would not believe how lovely these gardens are. The kids love running round the various sections, seeing the giant carp in the ponds and spotting dragon flies. Rolling down the hills on their tummies, hiding in the woodland and looking at all the beautiful flowers. There is something to see all year round (that it's open) so we never worry about it looking bare or being boring. Plus it's free to get in to.
