We really enjoyed our night at this hotel. Despite the fact that there was a wedding on we were given a nice quiet room away from the venue. We stayed in room 12 a superior room on the top floor. The room was not ready so we were offered another room but declined. The room was up two flights of stairs and we were asked if that was ok. Breakfast was very good as was the service. Good walking distance along the beach to the town and to the Pavillion Theatre. Do not eat in the restaurant on the corner opposite the theatre. The food is appauling.

Booked direct with hotel who were very helpful with early check-in and parking arrangements. On arrival we received a friendly welcome and were shown to our room which was large, comfortable, clean and modern.

We were attending a wedding at another location and didn't return to the hotel until late that night - there was a wedding party in full swing at the hotel but noise did not carry to our room and we had a good night's sleep.

In the morning we were the only "non-wedding party" people at breakfast but a table had been kept aside for us and the service was excellent with the hot buffet well-stocked and freshly cooked.

All in all, an excellent venue for a short stay.

This hotel is OK if you don't expect good service and there is no more than 10 guests staying at the same time. Avoid at all costs if there is a wedding party or other large amount of people because the hotel restaurant staff cannot cope. The restaurant manager was quite rude on the morning following the wedding when he had a full breakfast restaurant. We stayed for 2 nights and the breakfast on the first morning was adequate, ordered and delivered to the table, usual service, but the second morning was a different story. We had to queue for breakfast which was on a self serve basis and when we finally returned to the table we found a waitress clearing it assuming we had left. For a price of £90 per night for a small double room and a 4 foot bed we were not very impressed.

just got back from a short stay at the windsor hotel and have to say what a very nice clean hotel , booked a king size bed room , and it was well worth the little extra , there was a wedding reception in the hotel , but the room they allocated us was away from any noise what so ever , room was clean and spacious , lcd tv , tea coffee facilities etc. breakfast was very nice too , cereal , jams , fruit , juices and the all important english fried breakfast , very nice hot and plentiful with abundance of toast too . the location is just out of town , but a pleasant seafront stroll takes you there in about 10 mins , staff very friendly and helpful , would definately stay again when visiting worthing again .

Unfortunately it was necessary to cancel two places from a group of work colleagues attending a Xmas Party Night at this hotel due to the unusual snowy and icy conditions. The meal and wine had been prepaid, but the cost of wine should have been refunded without argument. This, however, did not happen. The wine was put on the table and when it was pointed out that it had been cancelled, a refund was refused – the wine was therefore taken home and given to the two people who had been unable to get to the hotel. The wine was duly returned to the hotel for a refund, which was again refused in a high-handed fashion by the manageress, who then walked away from the situation saying “she didn’t have time to deal with it” when a satisfactory solution was not reached. The wine was kept by the hotel. In an effort to sought this matter out, the organiser of the work event telephoned the manageress; she also experienced the same rudeness and dogmatic attitude.

This is an independent hotel whose owner apparently lives abroad. Having not been able to gain satisfaction from the manageress, I e-mailed the hotel with the request that my complaint be passed to the owner. No reply was ever received from the owner.

A refund was eventually forthcoming but my work colleagues, friends and I will not be returning. It beggars belief that any hotel would argue about two bottles of house wine which could be sold time and again, particularly when the full amount of the meal (£62) has been pocketed!!

I stayed at the Windsor hotel with my wife this month and it was fabulas, I have no complaints whats so ever. The Staff Steve, Hayley, Tanya, in fact all the staff were very professional, friendly and could not do enough to please customers. We did not book, but walked in off the street. Steve offered us to view the room he had vacent prior to booking in and it was lovely. Yes, it was on the small side but it had everything you require including 'Air Con', Hairdryer, Trouser Press, Flatscreen TV, etc, etc. Both the room and bathroom was very well equiped. The grounds were very well maintained, and there is a bar which is not over priced overlooking the deck or patio. We must express that the breakfast menu is fantastic and the actual food first class. Although we did not eat of an evening in the Windsor the Menu again looked very comprehensive with plenty of choice, we were informed by other guests that it was well worth a try and they will dine there again. All in all this is a very friendly, clean, hotel with excellent service (including room service). Whilst there we had an electrical fault over the bathroom mirror, on informing the reception it was repaired at once. Great service. Linda & I will return and recommend others to visit the Windsor.

We stayed here for two nights while attending a seminar, the rooms are very comfortable and clean. The evening meal was of a very good standard and very tasty. The staff could not be more courteous and helpful and if we were in the area again we would not hesitate to stay here. Thank you all at the windsor.
