The Moorings is the most relaxing, comfortable hotel we have stayed in Worthing , Sarah and Colin are very pleasant and worming , the Breakfast has made my clothes shrink (I loved breakfast and over eat).

The room was spotless and comfortable and our friend loved the small room so will definitely go back in June next year with our Visually impaired friends whom were impressed with the help and support they got from Sarah and her team

Room Tip: From small to large our party loved them all Ann loved the small room

Very friendly and helpful. Just like being home.
If i needed anything they found a way to get it.
Clean and comfortable.
Close to the breach and a place to eat. I would pick this place again.
Great breakfast every morning. Only complaint none.
Bed was very good to sleep in.

I stayed here while working in Worthing. It's in a good location close to the sea and resturants in the town centre. The rooms are clean and well equipped although the decor is a cosy/chintzy and the tv signal is not consistent in the single room. I didn't mind it, but the seagulls do make a lot of noise early in the mornings so no alarm clock needed. The breakfasts were very good but long term stayed discounts were only available if staying 7 days a week and not if you only stay during the week which was dis-appointing.

Just to correct this comment you have received a much reduced rate for your stay as we do for all our business people staying Monday to Wednesday or Thursday, the rate you have been charged every week of you stay is at least 20% less than our standard room rate, we did not charge you any more than this rate, even when the single room was not available and you stayed in our double rooms or even our family room.
As for TV signal you did not comment during your stay so did not provide us with opportunity to offer assistance - no body else has commented but we will check this out
The Seagulls are part of staying by the sea and are not part of the service provided by this guest house, so should not form part of this review.
we are disappointed you marked us down on service as we do feel we went above and beyond in accommodating you (mushrooms specially brought in for you, Girly chats in the evening when upset, provision of the Laptop, chargers and hair straighteners even loaned a mascara at one time)
we do not feel a 3 point service is fair and that is extremely disappointing

The Moorings is about as close to the epitomy of an English B&B as you can get.

It's as lovely and comfortable, friendly and clean a place to stay as you'd wish to find if you were running a place like this yourself. As someone who has travelled away from home frequently over a number of years and stayed at impersonal chain hotels, serviced apartments and other B&Bs, Colin & Sarah provide a wonderful place to stay for either the individual on business or families.

The rooms are well prepared for your arrival and the rooms are of a comfortable size as you would expect from a Victorian Villa.

Overall, after 8 weeks staying with them this summer, it's a lovely place to stay and have no hesitation saying thanks for having me to Colin and Sarah.

Me, my mum and cousins stayed at this hotel. Excellent location, easy walk into town for dinner, lovely owners, very helpful. Would highly recommend. Beds very comfortable. We stayed in the family room and also the twin room, both very well equipped.

My husband and I stayed at The Moorings B&B recently and had a wonderful experience. Colin and Sarah are kind, warm and very welcoming. The room was very comfortable, the breakfast was delicious and any thing we asked for we got. Felt more like a home away from home than a hotel. We were with two other couples and we all had a great time. After leaving The Moorings to go explore England further, we came back to The Moorings for our last night in England. Sarah had booked our taxi too Gatwick the next day, Colin printed our boarding passes for us, and we left the following morning after another wonderful breakfast. We intend to go back to England and will most certainly stay at The Moorings again. A wonderful, welcoming place! Thank you Sarah and Colin for a great start and a wonderful finish to our English Holiday!

Room Tip: All rooms at The Moorings are nice and welcoming. Each is equipped with Tea, coffee, biscuits and w...

I would very highly recommend The Moorings B&B. I stayed there with my grandmother and two other couples for five nights. The Moorings is well located in Worthing, just across from the beach and within walking distance of the town centre. Our beach themed room on the top floor was cozy with a nice bath. The only possible complaint would have been the wifi was a little shaky at first but when we mentioned it, it was strengthened and I had no problems the rest of the stay.

What really makes this a standout place though are the delightful hosts, Sarah and Colin. Not only do they cook a wonderful breakfast but they are pleasant, funny, cheery and helpful. Colin helped me decide on the best route to run to the Cissbury Ring and allowed me to print from their printer. Sarah helped us book an early morning taxi to Gatwick and Heathrow. These are all little things but added together, they made this an amazing stay.
