We'd booked a table, but there was no-one to greet us or show us to it. We stood waiting for 15 minutes by the Please Wait Here Sign. Three groups of people who came in after us didn't have the patience we managed to summon, and walked out again without having spoken to a member of staff. We got seated eventually (although our table had been empty the whole time), but there was no-one to take our drinks or food order. When we finally ordered, we had another long wait for drinks, which arrived about 50 minutes after we had first entered the place. Then the waitress told us that there would be an hour's wait for our food order. The woman who got us seated was also serving behind the bar and bringing food to the tables. Ridiculous situation. This place must be haemmoraging money because they simply don't have enough staff to cope. A pub and restaurant that can't put drinks on the table faster than 50 minutes can surely not stay in business.
