“A little gem near Wolverhampton”
Reviewed 24 June 2014

Lovely nature retreat with peaceful wooded area and nice walks. There are ducks, chickens, sheep, goats etc. to amuse children. Also a specially planted garden commemorating an long gone chapel.

Good cafe for lunch, basic fare but nicely presented and decent coffee, always a bonus.

I have lived only about 5 miles away for 12 years and today was the first time I visited it. Wish I had been before. Will definitely be going back and will take my young nieces with me for a visit as soon as I can.

“A Treasure”
Reviewed 28 May 2014

This park is an undiscovered treasure by a lot of people, the people of Wolverhampton are so lucky to have this attraction which is FREE! to wonder round and see animals (Pigs, piglets, ducks, etc) set in a lovely environment. Lovely area for refreshments and a good choice of food.

Hi Carol ~ Thanks for writing your lovely five star review. We always love it when we hear good things about the farm, it lifts all of the flagging spirits on a cold, frosty early start feeding the animals. Look forward to seeing you at the farm again soon.

“Lovely nature spot!”
Reviewed 26 May 2014 via mobile

We use this as a fantastic dog walk as well as to get some good fresh air within the city.

It's a got a good nature trail, some dense wooded areas and stream. Our dog loves it, if you do listen closely you can hear woodpeckers and other bird calls.

The whole area- though small is free and at a nice steady pace can do a lap of the woods in around an hour.

Only concern has been some of the barbed wire fences aren't always maintained well

Hi Kslade86 ~ Thanks for taking the time to review the farm and country park. We understand what you mean about the fences and as you may have heard we have fallen victim to attacks on our fences by vandals which has resulted in the death of some animals due to foxes getting in. It's something that we try to keep on top of. Look forward to seeing you again at the farm soon.

“Nice peaceful place, good food.”
Reviewed 12 May 2014

A nice quiet place to visit with a few animals and nice walks around it, free to get in and the café does an excellent very large cooked all day breakfast.
The main reason we visit is the good value for money meals in the tearoom/café.
Can't fault it.
