“Gorgeous pub conversion with lovely food”
Reviewed 22 April 2014

This is my second visit, a nice stop of before a concert at the Wolverhampton civic hall. We returned as it is reasonably priced, and as a buffet theirs no waiting times when you have a sceduele.
The food was a lot better at this visit, throughrully enjoyable, there was also a much larger range of puddings this time, we were encouraged by staff to try everything, they were very proud of the homemade deserts.
The staff were very polite and friendly, and service was great. Also with the convention of a pub there was a lot more variety in drinks than I have seen before in Indian Buffet restruants.
The only thing that let it down for me as a vegetarian was the very restricted variety of vegetarian main dishes. So I would suggest supplying a vegetable curry or putting up a notice to say it can be made to order!
We will certainly visit again if we are in the area.

“Under-Rated Restaraunt, one of the best Buffet style we've ever been to.”
Reviewed 5 March 2014

As you will see from the below The Tumeric or 'Copper Bowl' as many know it has mixed reviews.

We have been going there for about 3 or 4 years now on a regular basis and have never had a bad evening and have never come away feeling ill. Meals have always been delicious and staff very friendly and helpful. If there is anything not on the buffet they will go out of their way to make you a separate meal if possible.

In my opinion you should only judge a 'buffet style' restaurant when visiting at a reasonable time. If you visit a buffet restaurant 10 mins before they close you cant really blame them for having some empty dishes. Even if you did at this place you can be sure they would make a dish up for you.

Looking forward to the refurb if they go ahead with it - it already looks much better now but this place deserves to be much more busy and hopefully the deserved good reviews will catch on and people can enjoy this cracking buffet restaurant.

“welcome back copper bowl”
Reviewed 23 February 2014

went last night and was glad to see the previous owners sons have decided to re-launch the copper bowl, its been over 12 months since i last visisted and i have to say it was as if nothing had happened, the decoration in the main eating area is much improved and imran was saying in march they are doing a refurb to make it even better, to all who have been put off from revisiting, let me say the food was great, loads of choice last night from starters and sauces to the chinese and wonderful indian dishes that were on offer, there was never a shortage and the service is excellant, the mini chicken samosas are now spicy and much better than before, i took a friend who is very picky with food and even she loved it, the owners remember the customers and welcomed us as old friends, it was nice to be remembered, the food was hot and plenty, the salad bowl is still there so lots of salad choice from onion salad to beetroot, mixed pickle to lettuce, the madras is still very hot and does take your breath away but still great to eat, thanks guys keep going and welcome back
music is the only downside.... need a new cd player or cd ...... panpipes are not our favourite lol
