The reception is at the rear of the building from the main carpark and we wondered why. Once you have your bearings it starts to make a bit more sense, the station access and adjacent pub access are both a short walk from this end of the hotel. We had the teenage daughter staying and she ended up on the 'sofa/bed thing'...with no problems at all in fact she commented how comfortable it was.

The room was warm and retained the heat so if you don't want a warm night I suggest turning the air conditioning down a few degrees and hour or so before bed.

Access into the town centre was via the well lit, well signposted station subway and was about 5 mins walk. Contrary to the abusive and rude previous review regarding safety the local Transport Police Station is located at the opposite end of the subway which is also covered by CCTV so why someone would feel petrified is beyond me.

The staff in both the Hotel and the Blue Bricks Pub are very friendly and go about their business in a very warm and professional manner whether in the morning during breakfast or in the evening for dinner. We did have to wait about 45 mins on the Friday evening following bad advice about not having to pre-book however the relaxing atmosphere helped to pass the time before we were offered a table. As well as hotel guests there appears to be a reasonable number of regulars who eat there and it is therefore advised to pre-book. Saturday night was not as busy but the staff were still on the go all evening.
Overall yet another excellent, relaxing stay with no noise issues at all and everything clean and in working order.

The staff at this hotel are superb - very friendly, always have a smile, and very helpful with any issues you may have. The food for dinner is not great but is value for money if you are on the Meal Deal - breakfast is plentiful and varied. There is no room service available as such but you can order what you want and go and pick it up from the restaurant next door. Room 87 is quite noisy due the air conditioning access hatch being in the room.

Be warned I explicitly booked TWIN room and was given a room with one bed and sofa/bed thing. It is not a true TWIN room meaning it is not TWIN beds. Staff at reception insists this is what all Premier Inns' list this sofa bed combo as twins beds. Very misleading - not happy and being a regular at hotels had never heard any hotel or chain try something like this before. Found out about the good night guarantee from the fliers in the room and reception desk informed me the manager would call me following my repeated complaint in the morning. Still no call 2 weeks later - will be trying them today. Really -not happy - Premier Inn needs to clear up how they list rooms or get real "identical" TWIN beds. Silly me had paid for the room in advance as my experience at other Premier Ins had always been good... Not sure why staff member could not just step in execute the good night guarantee on the spot.

Stayed here in Christmas Eve Eve, the 23rd to be exact. Nice hotel, nice location, about 2 minutes walk from Wolverhampton train station entrance. Great reception staff, offered the use of microwave to heat up fast food. Also called fast food delivery driver to check on his whereabouts.
The only issue I had was the cleaning staff. After about 8.30am they were in our corridor on the 1st floor and were very loud, so loud that I was awoken. Didn't mention it reception as I was in a rush but called afterwards to let them know. I am still awaiting a call back from the hotel or area manager.
