We went for an evening meal and weren't disappointed by the food or service.
The atmosphere is good, you can watch the kitchen staff cook, service excellent - polite, cheerful, friendly, the starter was excellent and the steak beautifully cooked.

the dauphinoise potato was really awful. It was cut from a slab like a thin slice of cake, was tasteless and almost artificial. If it were possible to create dauphinoise from a 3D printer it would taste like this. I complained to the manager who was very helpful, apologised and brought fries which were fine. All in all an enjoyable meal.
