Fantastic place, staffed by total enthusiasts who were happy to take the time to show you around and answer any questions. Really informative and would highly recommend for children, making history interesting.

I visited with my 2 sons, aged 7 & 9, and we all enjoyed it.
The signage is absolutely terrible - so good luck finding it. Look behind the Mercedes building.
First off we were forced to park in the 'over flow' car park, which isn't very far from the entrance - a 5 minute walk, but were somewhat surprised to find that the car park closest to the entrance wasn't full. And there was no exodus of visitors as we arrived, so just poor management policy, of which see more below.
The banked circuit is in a shocking state (mostly gone), so it is good that there is an initiative to save part of it.
There is a bit of a 'get the customer's money' attitude (we met one of the directors - the treasurer as I recall - by chance, whilst watching a few classic motorbike enthusiasts playing about with their machines, and he had an easy opportunity to arrange for us to have a ride in an old Morgan 3 wheeler which was pootling around, but instead started pedalling 'the Concorde experience' (for which you have to pay extra) - doing his job, perhaps, but he could so easily have made it a special moment for us as a family of car and aircraft enthusiasts, and we would have been more inclined to stump up for Concorde. And I'd be writing a more positive review.
There are rides in 'classic cars', which are rather second rate vehicles - replicas mostly. So if you're accustomed to nice old cars, don't get excited.
The canteen is quite good. The exhibits are mostly authentic (a few replicas) and more space put over to aircraft exhibits than cars, but they are all interesting. The London bus museum is rather nice.
The gift shop is also rather good - we bought a collection of reproduction aircraft prints, which seemed fairly good value.
With the exception of the slightly snooty / pleased with himself director, the staff were universally friendly and helpful.
And if not for that, I'd have given it a 4 star rating.

Wonderful day on the Champagne Concorde day. Great experience to set foot on the Concorde, great to meet her pilots and other lovers!

Fascinating place and wholly lacking the "sterility' of many museums. Concorde simulator, a gift, was fantastic as was a tour of the engine shed by one of the volunteers/enthusiasts. You just feel the history of the place.
