Poor service bar staff very indifferent. seem more interested in playing phone games than serving customers, I was shocked with the service I got and will be not coming back again.

Thank Debbiegu

I went to the Rams with some friends of mine after having received good reviews from our friends (they have a new head chef now). We were not disappointed, the food was excellent and the staff were really friendly. It was a busy night as it was Friday and it was fish night so they had an excellent choice of fresh fish. My wife went with the sea bass which she said was beautifully cooked and I went with the fish and chips (couldn't resist) lovely crisp batter and homemade mushy peas which must be the best I have ever had! Our friends chose the rib-eye steak and the pie of the day which again went down a storm. All in all we had a brilliant time and it was all washed down by some excellent wine and a few pints of local ales, just what you need at this time of year! We are already planning our next trip back.

Lovely cosy pub in a gorgeous village but v disappointed with the food which was just pub grub, poor quality meat and had to pay extra for a bowl of greasy chips that weren't even home made. Feel ripped off by a pub taking advantage of its location. Won't be going again.

It looks like the Ram is getting it's act back together with the new management following a period of lacklustre performance under the old.
Visited for the second time in four weeks last night and the food and service were very good on both occaisions. The menu had changed in that time but both were well balanced although the addition of a 'traditional stodgy' pudding would be nice!
All the staff were friendly and attentive particularly Joe who went the extra mile on both occaisions and represents the place well. It is now back on our regular places to visit - well done.
