Went to a daytime function in the half which is an excellent venue. There was a large free car park at the rear accessible via the golf course entrance or through the park though this is tricky as there lots of pedestrians. There is a large bar area with comfy sofas and a separate room for the buffet with plenty of space for round tables to sit and eat. Doors open to the park at the side so children can play outside and in the sunshine the whole room is very pleasant. There are toilets downstairs too . The old hall is very historic but the facilities feel modern. Bar was well stocked . Buffet was excellent. Not sure if it went with the booking.
ideal place for a day out, large gardens, play area and mini zoo type thing . great family day out and well worth the visit. car parking is pay and display
This is a large park with cafe and toilets. It has a small animal zoo great for children. There is also mini golf and a 9 hole pitch and putt. It holds several events yearly the biggest is the Disability awareness day. Where all manner of disabilities are represented entrance is free. The car park is adjacent at a cost.
Beautiful gardens, mini zoo and park for the kids and great place to walk the dog. A little cafe on site and regular activities and events take place so check out their Facebook page. Walton Hall itself is beautiful (we got married there) and great for special celebrations. Definitely worth a visit. Parking is chargeable and not cheap so beware.
Walton gardens is a beautiful park, it’s free to enter, you only have to pay for the car park. There is something for every age, lovely park for children and a small animal zoo, Walton hall is set in the grounds, lots of parkland to explore, in the holidays there is a Thomas train for the children, and a couple of fair rides, ice cream van on tap, a crazy golf course, lovely walks around the beautiful gardens, a cafe and a few small shops to explore, this place is excellent for families, couples, it is well looked after, I definitely would recommend it to everyone.
Saw Open Air theatre here and had a really fun and lovely evening. The cast were excellent and we were entertained right through , even during the interval. It was a very intimate experience and one to be repeated.
We took our own food & drink but there was a bar.
