First impressions , looks lovely nice setting for a drink in the sun .. but unfortunately that's all I would return for . We looked at the small menu, it used to have a larger range and more choice .. there was a lot of over priced food on there in my opinion , but we just ordered what we wanted because we thought you pay for what you get? .. but we was disappointed , dry adult burger, burnt children's burger on a dry stale bun , and very very fatty lamb , accompanied by a warm real ale I complained to the waitress that my son wouldn't touch his burger (when he loves burgers may I add) and stated he was still hungry yet didn't discount the bill either or offer me anything else for him to eat , I don't like to make a scene so I said it nicely and didn't say anything about our food as I'm not bothered as long as my kids are fed , but I went home and made my son something else . Plenty more country pubs with better food than here !! £55 not well spent .
