First & last visit, sorry to say. Saturday evening was really busy when we arrived. We were shown to our table, which quite bizarrely seemed crammed in between two long tables of diners.
We were not shown the Special Board which became apparent when the next table to us were seated. We spent most of the night having waitresses serving to one side (their bodies nearly touching glasses on our table it was that cramped) and people getting up out of their seats on the other side. There wasn't adequate space either side of our table. It also seemed like it was everyone's birthday that night as there were several choruses of Happy Birthday & For He's a Jolly Good Fellow played by a man on his accordion, great at first but deafening when you're trying to actually have a good chat. I agree with a previous reviewer that the acoustics are not good at all - it was very loud.
Food was unfortunately disappointing (Sea bass was soaked in too much oil and the Crab Risotto was quite stodgy)
Sorry Ego's - but after receiving several recommendations to eat at your restaurant, we will not be returning, just not the atmosphere or service we are used to.
