This is our little local, welcoming, yes very busy on weekends and lunchtimes, so expect to have a wait. This is not a Gastropub, so therefor doesn't have exclusive dishes, but decent pub food. The decor is in keeping with this in mind, it's 'olde world'e'. There are other pubs locally, all of which are of the same mind; Gastro isn't the be all and end all.The team are great, the Sussex ale is great, and the rear garden is the perfect spot for a Pimms and some sunshine.....accompanied by nachos!
Unlike the previous review, which on their other reviews contains dreadful grammar, it's a Gem in the heart of the local countryside. Dogs are welcome, horses too.
Perfect for a few pints, steak and kidney pudd is a must!
