In a small village called Ottery, about 2 miles from Tavistock, in the middle of nowhere, you will find this paradise of welcoming people and fantastic food. Debbie, the owner and her mum, Yvonne and all the team, make you so welcome, nothing is too much trouble to make your stay perfect. Dean the chef is brilliant, his presentation and quality of food is superb. On Dean's day off, Debbie takes over and although she offers a smaller menu, the presentation and quality is great. There is a good choice of evening starters, mains and desserts, not forgetting the awesome cheese board! Breakfast will set you up for the day, with cereals, fresh fruit, juice, and a full Devon! The rooms are nicely decorated and so quiet at night. Can thoroughly recommend this as a base for touring the area. Our thanks to Debbie and her team for a fantastic stay.
