We sat outside for drinks - the view is second to none, then moved inside for our delicious meal - second meal in 4 days there, would highly recommend

We visited on a Saturday evening to find the place busy but not overcrowded. The service was efficient but relaxed. We both opted for seafood - a good choice given both dishes were excellent.

The final bill was a little pricey but on balance worth it. We would definitely visit again, ideally on a fine summer evening to enjoy the terrace and great views.

The location is very scenic and the tables outside on the decking provide glorious views across the estuary. The staff are all decked out in jaunty shorts and tee shirts which give it an air of casual dining. The food, at lunchtime is based mainly around burgers and seafood warps, tempura platters etc and salads, all accompanied with buckets of chips. The style is fresh, light lunching and very good. We had a variety of items from the Tempura fish in a wrap to crab and prawn sandwich, accompanied by lovely light crispy chips. For pudding I had a fabulous banana fritter and banoffee confection that was delicious, very moreish, my husband had the frozen berries and melted white chocolate which he too declared delightful. All this accompanied by a little pink champagne on a sunny day in Salcombe whats not to like?

Had a lovely lunch meal on a sunny Saturday. It was a busy day and we hadn't booked a table but found us a table at the terrace where we enjoyed our food and the sun. It is a little bit pricey but food is delicious and cooked perfectly. Service is very good. Truly had a wonderful lunch.

It's expensive but worth it for a great meal. Really good service, interesting and diverse menu. Great venue for a group or, as we were, a couple having a vaguely romantic meal!
