We stumbled over what looked like an estate agent initially, to find a lovely restaurant. Down the grey staircase to a beautiful sunny restaurant. No booking but they fitted us in. Food was perfect, a spicy prawn and monkfish aloo gobi. Delicious vintage cava to complement and view over the harbour. Staff were sweet and very efficient. 10 out of 10!!

Food average at best. Incredibly overpriced and very small portions. Left hungry and a lot poorer. A real shame.

Firstly lets make it clear this is a lovely place to eat for sure and I expect eating outside is even more interesting but sadly it was raining.
Whilst my meal didn't appeal and did ask the rest of the table for there thoughts and we all thought the food was at best average.
The service was OK but nothing special, got the impression that you can do what you like with a restaurant in Salcombe high season which is a shame.

Rarely could I choose every single option on a menu, but here I wish we could stay a week as we struggled to decide which starter and main course to choose. Several of the choices had vegetarian option if that is a preference. Good size portions and beautifully presented. Good wine choices at medium cost. Good bottle of wine, starter and main course £120 for two. Booking at this time of year essential. Excellent friendly staff.

If you can get an outside table especially lunchtime before the sun sets too much, you could be in the south of France! Great waterside location really friendly staff (owners a bit miserable) and always had good food here....
