We choose the Victoria Inn to celebrate our wedding anniversary whilst on holiday near Salcombe due to the reall good reviews. The Inn didn't disappoint with beautiful fresh produce, excellently prepared and attentive service. The table was a bit cramped but this is generally part of the ambiance of the place. Up to ordering dessert this was definitely going to be a five star review but service suddenly slowed and we had to ask a few times to get the dessert menu. We ordered some more wine as my wife was having the cheese for dessert but ended up drinking this well before the cheese arrived and had to order more. When we received the bill the drinks ordered placed after dessert was not included in the bill. The waiter had asked what wine we were drinking but no further reference was made to this so not sure if the round of drinks was omitted by error or recognition of the slow service. However despite all this I would still thoroughly recommend the Victoria Inn for fantastic food and mostly excellent service
