Menu is always changing with great fresh fish. Then there are always meat dishes for those in are party that don't ear fish.
Thank you to the owner who is also the chef a lot of the time.

Tried the restaurant last night after reading great reviews and we weren't disappointed. All fish dishes are shown on specials board and all look interesting. If you aren't a fish lover there are plenty of meat options in the menu. You will need to book in high season and a Saturday night. We booked on the Friday before dining the next day but had to take a slightly earlier time than our first choice.
Service was friendly and efficient.
A few niggles
My starter of deep fried Brie could have come with some bread or a bit more salad to accompany its onion relish. My partners brown shrimps had only a half piece of bread which wasn't really enough. His pan fried sea bass's skin wasn't fried crispy enough also.

Fantastic meal for 15 friends and colleagues. Nothing too much trouble.

Menu wide and varied with plenty of seafood options all of which received compliments and empty plates!

Atmosphere lively, thoroughly recommend!

Four for dinner. Lovely welcome by a busy busy very efficient (I think Eastern European) lady, menu choices and blackboard specials were explained and drinks orders taken. We all had different fish dishes which were perfectly cooked and presented. Probably the best Salcombe restaurant for fish currently. Prices were competitive and a nice ambience prevailed. Top marks and a huge improvement on our last visit.

This was our first evening in Salcombe and we were impressed with the extensive fish menu. We called in around 18:45 to a very lukewarm reception. Either the staff had received a telling off or we had interrupted their conversations as it would have been easier to get our own menus and sit down. Normally, we would have walked out but the menu had grabbed us and we thought maybe the service would improve. It did slightly. It is a great shame, the food was fantastic and beautifully presented and deserves 5 stars.
