“Great location”
Reviewed 23 July 2014 for a stay in June 2014

Lovely cottage, nicely presented and well equipped. Very narrow spiral staircase made getting up and down stairs quite difficult, and bathroom so small that it's impossible to use the toilet unless you sit sideways!
Situated on a steep hill, very close to shops and sea front, but parking spaces are very limited and can be expensive.

Thankyou so much for takeing the time to review "ringmore cottage"
as not to mislead enyone in enyway, it does say in the notes about the cottage , that it is a "small bijou fishermans" cottage , with a spiral staircase , which in salcombe there are a quiet a few!
Im sorry you found the bathroom a bit small , I have not, however had that problem or enyone in the past so thankyou for bring bring it too my attention, I hope that the fab power shower made up for it!!
and thankyou for pointing out that , as you so kindly said, its a fab location and a lovely cottage!!

“very compact!”
Reviewed 31 May 2014 for a stay in May 2014

Very clean with plenty of cooking utensils, towels etc. It is very small but has everything needed, the spiral staircase is very narrow and it was a very tight squeeze to get our suitcase upstairs! Guests on the larger size would not be able to climb the stairs. We where a bit disappointed to find no garden or sitting out area but otherwise enjoyed our stay. Also no wi fi which would be a bonus but hey we where on holiday!

Thankyou so much for takeing the time out to review ringmore cottage,
Huge effort Is made to keep on top of everything at the "cottage"
as you will have seen, the cottage has had a fresh splash of paint this spring , inside and out!
The Egyptian cotton bedlinen and feather&down duvet and pillows are replaced regularly,as so, are kitchen utensils ect....
so as not to mislead in enyway , no garden or outside area is advertised with the cottage,
Ringmore cottage is a old "fishermans" cottage and bijou!
And as you kindly pointed out, the house is a mere stones throw from the harbour and shops and all the wonderful amenitys that salcombe has to offer,
look forward to your staying again, and thankyou

“Cosy hideaway in idyllic town”
Reviewed 3 November 2013 for a stay in October 2013

Ringmore Cottage is a delight. My partner and I spent three nights at the cottage and wished we had booked for longer. Small, yet perfectly formed, the cottage is ideal for any couple in search of a romantic retreat.

Not that it bothered us in the slightest, it may be of use to advise that the spiral staircase up to the bedroom is rather narrow and there was no way my suitcase was going up there. Unpacking downstairs wasn't much of a problem though!

The facilities are all lovely and functional within the cottage and we could really not have asked for much more other than perhaps wifi but this would be a bonus rather than a necessity.

The cottage is perfect for exploring Salcombe as it is right in the centre of town.

We will certainly be back!
