Owner description: A 3 mile moderate walk along part of the South West Coast Path National Trail passing through an enchanted landscape of rocky spires and jumbled pinnacles to the mouth of the Salcombe estuary, with inspiring views in all directions, this is a coastal walk guaranteed to lift the spirits.

An energetic circular walk along the cliff edge and then back along the ciff top via Sharpitor. The views looking back up the estuary to Salcombe are stunning. Even better in Summer. One of my favourite walks ever.

A really excellent walk, but some very steep parts , espcially on the road from Salcombe as far as over becks. However this walk takes in Salcombe, then views over to beaches over the water, then two beaches , north and south sands, before you climb to get stunning views from the cliffs on the way to bolt head. Put on your walking shoes and do this walk. Coffe stops can be at the winking Prawn , north sands, or Bo,s cafe southsands, or at the national trust at Over becks.

Beautiful walk from Salcombe past North and South Sands then onto a very rugged coastal path with amazing views. The terrain is very up and down but well worth the inclines for the views. Spectacular houses dotted along the route until South Sands then it's very much into the wilderness! From Salcombe to Starehole Bay it's about 2.5 miles, there is a circular walk signposted once you're at the Bay but we watched a wake border for half an hour and retraced our steps - stopping at the Winking Prawn for some 'Prawn Juice'.

A short 3 mile walk from South Sands, where you can park easily. The best bit is along the side of the cliff edge where there are some crazy rock formations. You can then go out to Bolt Head or cut up the hill and then you can walk back along the top of the cliff, and back into town.

Great walk, 2 kids aged 11 and 8, great views and fairly easy going, have done this walk every year for the past 6 years and still enjoy each year as much as the first.
