One of the most beautiful holiday cottages we've stayed at. Stunning scenery, hills one side, sea the other. The property is modern and well decorated. Only downside was the decorators who started erecting scaffolding right above us on the Monday morning, shame we weren't told about this.

I loved it at this garden apt. The front overlooks the sea however this apt is situated to the rear of the imposing old house . The fixtures and fittings are all high quality ( JL bedding & NT throws) with great WIFI and TV s in all three rooms ! We had glorious sunshine and played tennis each day and trotted across the headland for 5 minutes to the beach . Start point lighthouse is open on the Sunday and is manageable even for a toddler . It would be a shrewd move to get an internet shop from Sainsbury's to co incident with your arrival as there are no stores nearby .

The pool is open in May - which was a shame for us . My one and only niggle was the sensitive smoke alarm so close to the oven - not designed by a cook I'm afraid but a small factor .

Sand buckets for children and a secure and safe environment - don't bother taking bikes though as the roads are just too narrow for a single car .
