First thing when booking is don't get duped into a superior room, they are exactly the same as Standard, apparently the difference is having a view, however we booked in at 5pm when it was dark, you cannot see the view. These rooms were small and basic with a 3/4 size bed. This is unless you book an Executive room, these rooms were nice and had a Jacuzzi bath but they were also £60 a night more expensive.
The hotel does have a nice relaxed feel to it and is only 4 / 5 minutes walk to Ross.
The bonus about this hotel is the restaurant. The food was great and staff seemed really friendly. We were booked on a Dinner, B&B rate but there were plenty of choice on the food.
If you want a hotel to relax and have a nice meal it is a good place but you may want at least the Executive room which makes it an expensive option.
We are going to return to Ross but will probably stop elsewhere but use the restaurant.
