“Great value Self Catered Conversion!”
Reviewed 31 July 2014 for a stay in July 2014

Lovely accommodation! Feels very large and airy and literally has EVERYTHING there you will need, as if at home. The kitchen has all mod cons and cutlery/cooking utensils/Microwave. I wasn't sure what to bring so thought i'd mention on here that you will literally only need to bring your own food and tea/coffee/Milk. There is a 7day a week BP garage near Ross on Wye town by the way!
It is located down a narrow lane, like most places in the area! So check your maps/post code and everything before you head there. Although it is next to the owners accommodation it does feel secluded inside and has a lovely view from the bedroom.
The storage space in the apartment is wonderful. Such good value for money.
BBQ's (disposable) are stored inside so you can purchase and use on the outside of the property. There is a seating area that is private at the bottom of the steps.
There is a dining area in the lounge, CD/Radio System. A seperate room in the bedroom for storing clothes and doing hair and make up.
Hosts are excellent, and obviously enjoy their role a great deal! Very kind.
Once again, great value for money! And lovely clean interior which is nicely furnished.
Internet is a little slow and phone reception is not very good, but just about useable. Again, this is due to the area, and does not improve away from the property brilliantly anyway.
Book quick! It's very popular!

Amazing place to unwind from the day to day life, secluded, tranquil and lovely hosts. There is so much to do around the area, and plenty of selection to cater for everyone who visits.

“Just perfect!”

We were attending a wedding in Ross-on-Wye and wanted self catering accommodation somewhere close by that we could book for a short stay to relax from the chaos of daily life and to explore the local area. This place has it all, it was perfect! The property is immaculate, bright, cosy and very comfortable. The views you wake up to are stunning and the location for exploring the local area is ideal. The Roost is very well equipped and the attention to detail is exceptional. What really made our stay special was the kind and friendly owners Carol & Barry. They are the nicest people you could ever meet and nothing is ever too much. We needed a taxi to take us to and from the wedding venue and Carol went over and above to find and book us a local cab at a reasonable price. Anyone looking for a beautiful, relaxing place to stay in a stunning location should book in at The Roost, you will not be disappointed! Barry's home made wine is also fabulous! We can't wait to return sometime. Thanks again Carol & Barry

“Home from home”
Reviewed 14 May 2014 for a stay in April 2014

We stayed here for a week over Easter and absolutely loved it.

Were welcomed warmly and shown round by Carol. Thanks for the bottle of wine too!

Everything was there to make your stay comfortable. I like to cook and the kitchen was well equipped

The views were lovely and it was really peaceful. Didn't want to come home.

Bedding was wonderful.

I don't think you could fail to have a lovely stay here.

Would really recommend the Mill Race restaurant. It is only a mile or two away and Carol rang to say we were coming and they gave a 10% discount off the food. Well worth a visit.

.Would stay again in an instant.
