Description: We are a traditional, local family-run pub in the idyllic countryside of Herefordshire. Over looking stunning views of the Wye Valley, the Man of Ross is the ideal place to go for a drink or delicious home cooked food. We have a vast drinks collection of local ciders and ales, lagers, wines, soft drinks and freshly brewed coffee. All of our food is as locally sourced as possible and home cooked to order. Our lunchtime menu offers light bites such as sandwiches and baguettes to homemade pub classics. The Chef specialises in fresh seafood dishes which vary weekly depending on what fresh fish is available. Also, locally sourced Hereford steaks are served daily such as a 16oz T-Bone and our 'Trio of Steaks'. Sunday Roast is served every week using only local meat and produce. Pop in to have a pleasant experience and warm by our cosy wood burner or relax outside in the sun admiring views of the River Wye during the summer season.

Fantastic evening at the Man of Ross. What a choice of menu , not massive but the quality was extremely high. The staff are helpful just cant do enough without being in your face. We had stuffed chicken breast in a lovely mushroom sauce with fresh veg. and home made mash deinatlyf. going back there when we next visit Ross on Wye.

What a great night we had at this family run pub. Although we have visited before this was the first time we had eaten here for over a year. We were celebrating our friends birthday we arrived to find floating balloons were unexpectedly placed on our table - a lovely thoughtful touch. The food was good and tasty. Four of us tucked into the yummy homemade steak and kidney pie and ate every morsel. We were there on their regular Wednesday night quiz and we joined in. Great fun ! Fantastic value and lovely host and staff.

My girlfriend and I have had a great night tonight. We decided to try the £20 sirloin steak and bottle of wine offer. Brilliant! The dining room was fairly quiet on the Tuesday but had a great feel to it and we felt quite cosy there. Kathy was lovely and really made us laugh and felt very welcome. We'll definitely be back

Set in good spot to sit outside and catch the sunshine. Enjoy a few beers and do some people watching - very enjoyable hour spent here.
