This b&b is as comfortable as the reviews say. We had a lovely bedroom, comfy bed and snuggly duvet! plus great view over the river. The bathroom was spacious too. We were greeted with tea and an enormous piece of a lovely home-made cake. Well worth a visit. It is easy to walk into Ross from here in 10 minutes or so and there are plenty of things to do in the area.

We chose the Bridge House for a short visit to Ross-on-Wye due to other comments onTrip advisor - and can happily endorse all previous accolades. This is a fairly new venture for Darren and Elena - and I really hope it will be a successful one for them. So much thought, effort and energy has been put in to making it a wonderful B&B and they are the most welcoming hosts who clearly enjoy sharing their wonderful home. From the attention to detail, beautiful high quality room specs., amazing breakfast and great location - we were not disappointed and will definitely return if in the area again. Thank you so much for a fabulous stay and the very best of luck, D & P

We like travelling and have stayed at a few b&b's. this one certainly counts among the top ones. The hosts give you a very warm welcome and their attention to detail is incredible. Nice little touches all round the place and in your room. Tasteful decoration. Very clean. The quality of breakfast is excellent and you get a very good choice. Couldn't think of anything they have missed. Good value for money.

It's clear the owners have put a lot of time and energy into this place, from start to finish my stay within this family run b&B has been nothing short of perfection, so much so that I ended up staying for another week. The lake view from the back garden is stunning, its just a shame that its not a tad warmer to enable one to sit outside and enjoy it more, though they have thought of that too with the addition of a comforting log fire in the lounge. I found the rooms eloquently styled and designed, giving a new outlook on the normal old-school style b&b's that everyone has become accustomed to.

The service really was fantastic and they made me feel so welcome throughout the entirety of my stay, and as you can probably tell from my review that, yes I would come again, and yes I would definitely recommend to others!

Thank you Bridge House, and I'll see you soon,

Chris

A beautifully refurbished property in a great location. Darren and Elena are warm and friendly hosts who went that bit extra which made for a memorable stay. Breakfast was really good. Rooms very comfortable and with the gardens stretching down to the river what more could you ask for.

Room Tip: Room 2 if you want a nice shower rather than a bath.

Lovely guest house just a stones throw from Ross on Wye town but perfectly situated. Newly refurbished but keeping with the traditional style of the age of the house. From being met in the car park by Darren and shown to our room and the facilities of the house, we couldn't fault a thing. Bedroom with en suite bathroom, perfect size and as with rest of house, wonderfully clean. Also tea & coffee making facilities in the room. Bathroom - lovely shower with huge fluffy towels, really good quality with lovely toiletries provided. We were given a front door key so we could come and go as we pleased. There is a lovely lounge with a fridge and glasses and although not licenced to sell alcohol we were told we could use the fridge for our own wine/beer/soft drinks. In nice weather conditions there is a lovely large garden to sit in of an evening. Breakfast - well put it this way, after it I couldn't eat until evening. Self-serve muesli and/or granola, fresh fruit salad as well as fruit juice, freshly-cooked full English which my partner had but I had smoked salmon and scrambled egg, on a toasted muffin - to die for. Also toast and tea or coffee. Other breakfast options were also available. There is a private car park which Darren and Elena offered us to leave our car in rather than moving it into the town. The only down side to this guest house is that we weren't staying for longer. Would definately return to Ross on Wye and to this guest house. We would both like to wish Darren, Elena and their children every success with this business.
