We have eaten twice at the Queens this month, both times it was extremely busy, so the service was a bit chaotic, although the young staff try hard to please. It can get very hot & noisy inside.Service would benefit from a manager being in charge, can't say we have seen anyone come out from behind the bar. The food is generally good, and reasonably priced. Portions can be quite large which is a bit too much for my appetite, although my friends chicken & avocado salad only had 2 pieces of avocado in it. In the warm weather it is nice to sit outside although the wooden seating is not comfortable for a long stay. Dogs are welcome, which seems to be a turnoff for some.

We choose the Queens for lunch as it is dog friendly and there are so few places that are. The food(gastro pub style)/service/cleanliness are excellent. Would highly recommend and will certainly be returning

Spent last weekend staying at the Queens in Lytham and really enjoyed it. The hotel has recently been refurbished and the quality of accommodation is excellent, no expense has been spared to ensure a really great stay. We had a lovely sea view room and the bed was one of the comfiest I have ever slept in. the hospitality tray was brimming with beverages biscuits and bottles of water and the complimentary toiletries in the bathroom were of such high quality I did not need to use any of my own. The staff were very welcoming and friendly, willing and happy to deal with any request. But my biggest compliment has to go to the wonderful breakfast, without a doubt it was one of the best hotel breakfasts I have ever eaten. My congratulations go to everyone involved at The Queens, keep up the good work.

We had a lovely meal at the Queens this week. Opting to have 2 starters instead of a main meal was definitely the right thing to do. Portion sizes are large and serious consideration had to be given as to whether we would have room for dessert or not.

Service was excellent, the food arrived at well timed intervals and we weren't 'pestered' to keep ordering drinks.

I wouldn't hesitate to eat at the Queens again, or to recommend it to others.

We booked in late on a Saturday afternoon after having been overbooked at another hotel. Paul and his team couldn't do enough for us. We were shown straight to our room and were booked into the restaurant for a lovely dinner. We found the hotel room to be clean and extremely comfortable. The bed was one of the most comfortable hotel beds I have slept in and the pillows were just perfect! We found the dinner menu to be extensive with something for everyone with prices to suit. Breakfast is buffet style with plenty of choice of cereals, yoghurts, a choice of breakfast tea and fruit teas and coffee. There is waiter service for a cooked breakfast which was again from an extensive menu. We found the room tariff to be affordable and fairly priced for the fact that this hotel has to be in one of the most enviable positions overlooking Lytham Green and the beach. We cant wait to stay here again!

I called in here last Friday lunchtime on my way to St Annes. It can be a bit tricky parking but after that I thought the pub was great and in a perfect location, right on the front near the Windmill. I just had a couple of drinks and didn't eat here, but the food that was being served looked very good. Being lovely weather I sat outside and just chilled out for an hour or so.
