The hotel is a little faded but this is more than made up for by the friendliness of the staff and the excellent food, you are offered more than the average person could possibly eat. prices are reasonable. good quiet location easy walk down the prom. to St. Annes, about an hour in the opposite direction walk to Lytham, Blackpool very close.

Room Tip: Some rooms on the front of the hotel have a sodium lamp facing the façade, which makes the rooms ver...

Touted on their website as having "a collection of single malt whiskeys to die for", with a corresponding photo of a cabinet with circa 60 bottles, I was keen to see what the Chadwick Hotel's Buggati Bar had to offer.

The bar itself was quite shabby and in need of refurbishment. It was however well heated on what was a very cold winter's evening. Staff were pleasant.

As for the whiskey... the cabinet was largely empty, with eight bottles of rather uninteresting whiskies remaining (having ordered the only remaining nip or Laphroig). Of those on offer, these included a few blends, and the standard expressions of Laphroig, Craggenmore and Tobermory. On enquiring as to the availability of Bowmore, listed as one of ten specials on a menu, I was given a blank look - apparently what was in the cabinet was indeed all they had.

Dear Nick
Our sincere apologises for the lack of whiskies at the time of your stay, a few more than you stated with the Irish Whiskies & blends behind the Bar, but none the less, not our usual splendid array. Due to the turnover of them at the current time, we have had to reduce our selection and are refurbishing our displays. We shall of course keep a tasting selection for the malt whisky & whiskey drinkers. Thank you for bringing it to our attention. I will update the website asap as not to misrepresent the selection available.

Stayed here for two nights in November arrived quite late on Friday evening, reception staff were waiting for us and very quickly showed us to a very warm, clean and quiet room. Breakfast was excellent and waitress service which was a lovely change from buffet style, the staff were really very pleasant too. We arrived back on Saturday evening at 11pm after seeing a show in neighbouring Blackpool, having had nothing eat since our brilliant breakfast the staff were really kind and quite happily made us a toastie and delivered to our room, again best toastie I've ever had and presented lovely with salad. This hotel is partly refurbished and the public rooms were lovely, our room was dated and needed an upgrade but was very clean and warm but the staff, service and food made up for any worn decor.

A very Homely Hotel that is obviously family owned, due to the fact that the service that you receive from the staff is excellent, it's as though they are all members of the family. The food that they serve is to die for and the Swimming Pool and Spa are first class. Overall, an excellent Hotel.

Room Tip: The Sea View Rooms are superb, especially the one's with Bay Windows.

My family (ranging from 5 years old to 95 years old) had a very nice stay in this hotel. It was very clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I cannot fault anything.
My room was on the first floor. It was a good size and was clean. The shower was easy to use.
My grandad had a room on the ground floor which was a good size, which he needed as he has a wheelchair.
We had all our evening meals in the hotel restaraunt. There was a good choice and every meal was very nice. The meals were of a good standard and the portion sizes were good as well. The price per person was very reasonable considering the amount of food we had each evening (5 courses including tea and coffee in the lounge.)
The breakfast was very nice as well but could do with having more.
We will definetly consider staying at this hotel again in the future if we are in this area.

Room Tip: The stairs are quite steep but there is a lift.

Enjoyed a 3 night half term break at The Chadwick and was very impressed. The facilities at the hotel are good with the swimming pool and sauna being lovely and one of the reasons I booked. My room was of a good size, unfortunately no sea view rooms were left and I didn't have any window outlook but this didn't really matter. The facilities in the room were good and I really liked the power bath. Loved the veranda area at the front of the hotel, great for a coffee in the morning, pot of tea in the afternoon after a swim and glass of wine at night. In fact I made a point of sitting there several times of day to enjoy the view. Didn't have any evening meals but breakfast each day was excellent, just the right size and fresh and hot. The staff throughout are very good and where there were any minor problems these were put right straight away (eg when they forgot my coffee order it was provided free of charge) Will definitely return. Thank you.
