Stayed here for one night with my husband, was not expecting much after reading some of the reviews and we had only booked an economy room, the hotel looks dated from the outside but don't be put off, the inside is newly refurbished and there is everything you can think off. We used the leisure facilities pool, sauna jacuzzi and steam room all very clean and the staff on leisure reception were very helpful. We had a coffee in the terrace bar with a lovely seating area in the sun. We didn't eat at the hotel but food did look and smell very nice. Our room even though economy could not be faulted, although decor and carpets not new it was very clean, it even had a small kitchen area. The facilitied for children looked great and there is even a laundry room with and iron and ironing board which we took advantage of as our clothes had got creased in the bag. I would definetley stay at this hotel again in the future.

I have just returned from a nights stay here and can't believe it is a 3 star as opposed to a 4 star!!! Everything is top class and newly refurbished rooms are lovely!!! Ask for a sea view room as they have a lovely view.

We stayed dinner bed and breakfast and both the meals were lovely and the entertainment at night is great for the kids

Stayed here for one night with my boyfriend as he used to stay here every year as a child, on the 1st July, the hotel looked a bit old fashioned and tired form the outside but this is no reflection on the facilities inside.

Lovely spacious clean room, the bar was beautifully decorated, the pool and changing rooms were extremely clean and the staff were great.

We have just returned from a 6 night break at the Dalmeny Hotel. This was the best family holiday we have had! Our children are aged 6, 4 and 16 months -they loved it and did not want to come home. Food was exceptional, staff extremely helpful and the pool gorgeous. Our two sons went to the crèche twice (we called it the holiday club) and they wanted to go back again and again. Evening entertainment was varied and suited their age group. Our room was lovely too! We will definitely go back!

Room Tip: Ask for one of the recently refurbished rooms.

Held an 80th Birthday party here, it was ideal for all ages, all all 44 of us enjoyed the food, facilities and rooms. The Events team could not have been more flexible and efficient.
Staff were very helpful towards disabled guests, providing discrete and thoughtful assistance. Many bedroom corridors include stairs - so if mobility is a problem it's worth mentioning this in advance.
Very easy access to local shops and the beach / pier.

Room Tip: Request a re-furbished room.
