After staying here a couple of weeks ago, I ended my stay with mixed feelings.
The good points of the hotel.
Excellent parking facilities
Staff very attentative
A choice of restaurants offering a range of foods.
Leisure facilities fantastic
Kids entertainment, and creche facilities fantastic.
The Bad Points.
I paid roughly the same amount of money for a 2 night break here than what it would cost to stay in 5*star hotel all inclusive abroad for a week (excluding flights)
Unfortunately the rooms were of an extremeley poor decorative standard, I have never stayed in such dated rooms and this really is what let the hotel down. The rooms are clean and extremely spacious but just feel so old and in some aspects resembled the interior of an old nursing home. The carpets at the front entrance and the corridors of the hotel have a mass of brown tape holding it together. This instantly put negative thoughts in our mind before we even got to our room.
If the hotel underwent a radical refurbishment i would not hesitate to return here, as the staff were extremely welcoming and accomodating, but until then i can't help feel a little disappointed when most standard hotels with modern fittings are offering their breaks at a fraction of the cost.More
