This hotel is well worth a visit. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. The food is excellent, always well prepared, piping hot and beautifully presented. The sweets are to die for, the only problem was there were too many to choose from. Our room, whilst a little small was comfortable and clean. The bathroom would benefit from an upgrade but on the whole was adequate. There was a lift in the hotel but this only held three people at one time and this let the hotel down a little but the mealtimes were staggered so the best thing was to wait a while before going down to the dining room. All in all we had a lovely stay and would definitely use this hotel again.

Room Tip: We were on the third floor and had a sea view. We were able to have our window open day and night...

Hello there,

Many thanks for your kind review and we are glad to hear you had an enjoyable stay. We are constantly making refurbishments to all of our rooms as part of an on going programme where occupancy levels allow us to do so.

Our lift is very small and if we could make any changes to this it would be the first thing we did. Unfortunately due to the tight constraints of the building there is literally no where else we could site a lift. Our current lift did recently have a new motor and parts fitted which we hope will make it more efficient. We certainly agree with your point about our meal times and we alway try to encourage our guests to go for dinner at their own leisure

We look forward to seeing you again soon

Regards

Ben Glover

Spent a short break at this hotel I booked at the very last minute so my room expectations
were not very high I was pleasantly surprised I had a sea view albeit on the top floor, but
I could have been on a lower floor with no sea view Nice room, good shower/bath
The food was exceptionally good Car park a bit tight but there was on the road parking
This hotel is dog friendly although not my cup of tea This year there is a service bus passes the door to Blackpool and Cleveleys It runs 3 times an hour so is useful There was enterainment every night Would certainly go back again

Room Tip: Be careful part of the hotel does not get served with a lift

Hello John

Many thanks for your kind review and we are happy to hear your last minute booking worries were soon put to rest. Some of rooms are not serviced by the lift but we highly recommend giving our bookings team as much information on your requirements when making a reservation

We look forward to welcoming you again soon

Kind Regards

Just spent the weekend (Friday to Monday) at the Lindum playing bridge with a friend and had a lovely time. As people have commented before the hotel is a little dated and needs a bit of refurbishment here and there but the rooms are clean and the food is very good. Also the staff are very good and nothing is too much trouble.
Another recommendation is if you are interested in bridge or whist, there are lots of weeks and weekends to choose from and you will be warmly welcomed.

We are 8 ladies who traveled with Dalesman, for 2 nights at the Lindum Hotel in order to go to the Southport Flower Show.
On arrival at the hotel we were greeted by several of the young male members of staff who quickly and efficiently took our cases directly to the appropriate rooms.
The rooms were very clean, recently refurbished and with good beds. Complimentary tea and coffee facilities along with a hair drier, were also provided.
We were able to arrange a table in the restaurant to seat all of our party, but went down to dinner with some trepidation, having experienced some awful hotel food. We were presented with a very comprehensive Menu, and the waiter took our orders in a very professional manner.
The food all arrived together, and was hot and delicious. Desserts were served from a huge table, from a most impressive selection, all homemade! What a difference from the bland slop that some hotels serve. Breakfast was just as impressive and the eggs were amazing, perfectly cooked every time!!
Thank you Lindum, you have restored our faith in British hotels.

Room Tip: 406 was fine. No sea view. On the top floor. Take the lift to 3rd floor then one flight of stairs...

Had a lovely night at the Lindum hotel in Lytham. My room was spotless and enormous ...I could've had a party in there - I didn't ;)
It was lovely and quiet and the location is fabulous.
Highly recommend!

We had two nights @ the Lindum and enjoyed our stay.We were made very welcome. Our double room was large & spotlessly clean with tea-making facilities & T.V.
Generally the hotel is very comfortable but is looking rather dated (1970's ?) and could do with some modernisation.
It is very keenly priced and the food / service is of the highest order.
The locality is on the promenade overlooking the sea and is handy for the excellent St Anne's shopping centre. The hotel is family owned and a family member was "hands-on" and in attendance.

Room Tip: Sea view rooms have splendid views.Traffic noise not a problem

Hotel clean and friendly and food excellent - in fact better than many 5 star Hotels. The down side is the actual accommodation itself which is a little dated with only one small lift for the entire Hotel and steps to almost all rooms. The room I occupied was fine but the bathroom was a little small and the only view through the window was the rooms in the other part of the Hotel. However, I must say that all the staff were superb and the service could not be faulted. Would certainly stay there again .

Room Tip: I presume that a room on the front would be much nicer but not having stayed in one can only make th...

Hello There

Many thanks for your review and we are glad you enjoyed your stay with us. As part of our refurbishment and modification programme we always schedule rooms for upgrades when we have sufficient time to do so. As we are not a purpose built hotel some of our rooms do have steps in leading to them and unfortunately we only have space for the one small lift

We are happy to hear that you will return and hope to see you soon
