“Shrimpers Cottage is an absolute Gem that I would highly recommend”
Reviewed 21 June 2013 for a stay in June 2013

Shrimpers Cottage is a real gem. Perfect location close to town centre - but with an air of tranquility. Much thought has gone into furnishing this spotlessly clean property which is bright and fresh and impressively stylish, with everything of high quality. The fresh flowers and bottle of wine to greet guests on arrival is a nice touch. I will definitely be returning.

“Clean comfortable accommodation, in ideal location.”
Reviewed 28 May 2013 for a stay in May 2013

We had a great stay in Shrimpers Cottage, and was greeted by Richard who showed us around the property, and recommended a number of local restaurants.
The property was spotlessly clean, and exactly as described, in a quiet location, however, only a stones throw from the shops and facilities of Lytham.

Within 1 minutes walk was a fish & chips shop, and a Wetherspoon pub, and a great supermarket, Booths, was only another minutes walk away.

Overall a great place to stay for Lytham or for the wider area. Highly recommended.

“Lovely holiday”
Reviewed 27 May 2013 for a stay in May 2013

The cottage was lovely. It is in a great location just 5 minutes to the town centre, supermarket and windmill. Richard was very friendly and helpful, even saving us the closest parking space. My only criticism (and it issmall) wis that there wasn't much information in the cottage about what to do in the area, I have previously found this useful as having two dogs with us some of the places are out of bounds. For those with dogs the Queens hotel is great, you can even have them with you in the restaurant and it is a10 minute walk from the cottage.

Shrimpers cottage is a real home from home, we were warmly greeted by the owner
Richard. The cottage was spotlessly clean and a lot of thought has gone into modernising
The cottage and the decor is lovely.

A nice touch was the. vause of fresh flowers and bottle of cava waiting for us.

We have been to many holiday cottages, shrimpers is one of the best and in a great
Location. We have already booked for next year.

Not being sure what to expect and after a tiring train journey and a taxi driver who didn't speak much English, I was utterly thrilled when I stepped inside Shrimpers Cottage. Flowers, wine, biscuits, and Richard's smiling face greeted me - it was just what I needed! Delightfully modernised but still retaining a lot of charm, spotlessly clean, comfortably furnished, warm and welcoming and in a secluded but easily accessible spot - it was perfect and local friends and family who came in to see me were most impressed. I hope to be back there soon!

“An absolutely lovely cottage. 10 out of 10!”
Reviewed 11 May 2013 for a stay in May 2013

An absolutely lovely cottage with all mod cons which makes it perfect for that home from home getaway. So good you won't want to leave!! The location is ideal for walking into Lytham as its literally 5 minutes to the start of the shops and numerous cafes. The owner is friendly and helpful and kindly provides a complimentary welcome pack of bubbly, flowers, tea, coffee and milk which is very thoughtful. Looking forward to a return visit in the future.

“Excellent; exactly as advirtised. Spotlessly clean, great location.”
Reviewed 7 May 2013 for a stay in May 2013

Shrmpers Cottage is clean, warm, homely and in a very good location in Lytham. It is a few minutes from Booths supermarket as well as the high street and restaurants plus seafront walks. Despite all of these facilities it is very peaceful.
For once there was no dissapointment in the standard of cleanliness, friidge spotless, bathroom the same. The heating was on timer do no damp or mould anywhere.
I would not hesitate to return.
