“The Pier Cafe”
Review of St Annes Pier

St Annes Pier
Reviewed 4 October 2014

We were appauled following our visit to the cafe today. Whilst we was eating our food, a family came in with their dog (which was dripping wet which caused a very slippy floor). When we asked if dogs were aloud in while people were eating and the woman replied very abruptly yes they are, and that there are no laws against it, so how they got a 5 in hygeine rating is beyond me! We did come in the cafe a lot however we will not be returning to the cafe after the way we were treated! As we were leaving we had to walk past some of the staff who shouted "some people have dogs" which is fair enough but i dont agree with them being in a place where food is being served!

Wanted to go here mostly to visit the statue of the late and great Les Dawson. Was not disappointed. Even though the weather was iffy to say the least, the brilliant statue of Les by Graham Ibbeson raised a huge smile. An excellent tribute to a great star.

St Anne's pier is good for a day out. They have mini golf, trampolines and a few small rides and a little train for the kids.

Give them a few quid and off they pop!
There are a few machines that are in poor state of repair but once they learn not to use them all is good.
