“consistently good quality”
Reviewed 1 March 2014

we have never ever had a problem with the quality of food here. staff friendly and place gets packed out, which speaks volumes. their home made meat pie and other specials of the day always yummy. as already stated, good access for disabled and elderly folk. conservative menu which is reflected in type of clientele. not table service, previous reviewer must be confused. but once food is ordered it is delivered to your table.
we never mind dogs being in there, and there is rarely a problem with 'spats' between doggies. place is clean and well run.

“A Welcome cafe offering traditional food.”
Reviewed 25 November 2013

Good home cooked food with plenty of choice from a snack to a full meal. Particular good cakes and desserts and ice cream too. Drinks galore and something for everyone, served in a pleasant and friendly atmosphere. Always open, even at interval time when the theatre is in production.

“Nice Cafe”
Reviewed 15 October 2013

Visited with my dad for tea and a quick bite, the cafe indoor was full and bursting, which is a good sign, we got a tea and cake each and sat outside, the view over the park is very nice.

Tea was tasty and the cakes were large and fresh, well worth a visit if you're in Lytham

“Worth a visit and dog friendly !!!”
Reviewed 11 August 2013

Called at the cafe today for breakfast as we were in Lytham the big draw for us was the cafe is dog friendly which is a huge plus for us dog owners and full marks to the management on that front it's great to find somewhere to eat where your little pal can join you. Plenty of room between tables all of which were clean and tidy staff were very polite and friendly and made you feel very welcome we had two full breakfasts £4.95 each 1 bacon, 2 sausages , beans fresh cooked tomatoes 1 egg mushrooms 1 slice of toast ,drinks were extra food was well cooked and arrived at the table hot and quickly couldn't fault the speed of the service food wasn't the best quality to be honest but was more than edible and we have had far worse for much more money from the look of the menu board there is plenty to choose from , from light snacks to main meals worth a visit if you are in the area especially if you have your little furry friend with you

“Busy cafe”
Reviewed 23 July 2013 via mobile

Popular venue located in the busy Lowther Gardens, good quality food which supplements the range of drinks and snacks. Reasonable choice on the menu from cakes and sandwiches upto the hot meal choice of the day. Clean and tidy with limited outdoor seating.
