This hotel was a real find! Lovely warm friendly atmosphere as soon as you walk in, has a cosy but cosmopolitan feel to it. The room was really up to date and clean, very comfy beds. The breakfast was the best ive ever had at a hotel, value for money is incredible! We really enjoyed the weekend, not to mention relaxing in the sauna after a breezy walk on the pier. If you're looking for a fun family weekend away or a romantic get away with your other half, then the Ives is for you! One last thing, the Christmas parties are amazing so get you and your friends booked in! We can't wait to go again.

We stayed here as a family with a young baby. The hotel is going to be refurbished- this is very much needed as the rooms are tired and look old.
We decided to stay at st. Ives as it was a more affordable option, we normally stay at another hotel a few doors down.
The food in the dining room is ok with a good choice of food and the staff are really nice.
The entertainment was family friendly.

Went for 2 nights family of 4 (Kids 7&8), had a really good time, the hotel had a very nice feel to it and the staff were warm and friendly. Location is great, beach over the road, shops just around the corner. Really good value, rooms clean, spacious and great views.

Food was really good quality and very tasty, plenty to choose from, entertainment was great there is something going on all day, so the kids will not be bored. Evening entertainment was really good.

Well done to all at St.Ives, see you soon!

Had an excellent unplanned night here, the entertainment for children was good. My 4 and 7 yr old had a ball. The arts and crafts room is an excellent idea. The hotel is directly opposite the beach, so just a quick hop over the road. The food was also very tasty.

Very comfortable room. The evening meal was a set price of £15 each for a three course meal.
It was very much help yourself with a good choice of starters, good choice of mains and puddings. The bad point is you are up and down in between courses and the good point is you can choose exactly what you want. The food was all very hot and very good value for money. Staff were very efficient having serving drinks.
Our room was very comfortable but it was above the entertainment, but this stopped before 11 p.m.
The breakfast was again help yourself. There was plenty to choose from. Starting off with juices, fruit and cereal followed by a cooked breakfast which was very nice, especially the scrambled egg which was excellent. Plenty of croissants etc., if you did not want a cooked breakfast. The breakfast was included in the price of the room.
We were quite happy to help ourselves, but some people may prefer to be served their meals.

Room Tip: Probably not above the entertainment if you have been travelling and want an early night.
