“Stayed for the Prom 2014”
Reviewed 4 August 2014

Had an excellent four night stay at The Grand Twenty-Two next door but one to the main hotel during the Lytham Proms 2014. Staff where extremely helpful throughout. Tom on reception, when we arrived, was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and walked us across to our impressive room - but sadly no sea view but the room made up for the lack of a view.

Down side - food in the restaurant took a while to arrive but it was worth the wait.

Second stay here this year - the first with a family reunion the second a romantic anniversary. Staff are very pleasant and welcoming rooms are lovely and well decorated. Spa is very relaxing and lovely hot tub. Food I'd very nice good spread and choice at breakfast and good choice of evening meals all freshly prepared and unable to fault. Cannot wait to return

Another lovely stay. We were there during the hot weather so were glad of the air con in the grand 22 building. We also had a stunning, spacious sea view room which was really well appointed - the bed was huge! As others have said about 22, tea making facilities would be welcome although proper coffee lovers will be very happy. Cafe Grand was amazing as usual. Staff are always superb, very professional, great cocktails and I love the chilled out atmosphere. It's by far my favourite restaurant. We were a little unlucky this time as there was a very inconsiderate, noisy family party on site but we've not had that problem before so hopefully just a one off.

Dear Mels1

I’m delighted that you benefited from the air conditioning in Grand Twentytwo it’s a great feature and something we will looking to introducing into the main building in 2015.

All our beds in Grand Twentytwo are the same sized Hypnos Super Kingsized beds (2 Metres) so whichever grade you choose you will be assured of a great nights sleep with plenty of bounce!

From all the staff here at the hotel I would like to thank you for yet another visit and we hope to see you again soon.

Kind regards

Stayed at The Grand for a business trip. The room was clean and well fitted, but just getting a little tired. The room had a fridge and had a selection of cold drinks and snacks included in the price. What impressed me the most was there was a nespresso machine. Gone is the nasty sachet coffee and having to boil a murky kettle. So each morning started with a nice proper coffee.

Breakfast was nice, if you wanted a full English with all the trimmings, good luck but there is a good selection.

Evening meal was very good, slightly on the expensive side but the steak was cooked perfectly. A small issue when coming to sort out the payment the waiter got some things wrong but was sorted out without fuss.

Dear Adrian C

I’m delighted that you enjoyed the Nespresso machine, I just have to convert the traditional tea drinkers next.
Thank you for the visit and we hope to see you at the hotel when you next travel on business.

Our one stay at the Grand was perfect. The receptionist was very pleasant and most helpful as were most of the staff. We will certainly use the hotel in the future and recommend to friends and family.

My son and I had a Sunday lunch at The Grand hotel I don't know which course I enjoyed the most, the lunch was excellent the pudding Chocolate mouse was to die for. the only problem was our bill they had charged for three meals instead of two, I rang the Grand and they sorted the problem out. I definitely would go there again, the hotel is very classy with a great staff very relaxing, for a great enjoyable meal out.

We did not stay here but ate a light evening meal outside on the terrace. The food was exquisite both in taste and presentation and we shared the best Eton Mess I have ever had. I cannot fault the staff, food or location and will be back very soon.
