Stunning cottage in a beautiful location with everything you need. Secure Garden and off road parking. Made to feel very welcome. Helen is very helpful and recommends very nice places to eat and lovely walks for us and the dog, would definitely recommend Keepings cottage to friends and family. We will be booking to stay again.

“Fairytale Pet Friendly New Forest Cottage”
Reviewed 6 June 2018 for a stay in May 2018

Super location. Norleywood is quiet and peaceful but only two miles from Lymington which has a great buzz and fabulous street market on Saturday mornings. You are also very handy for the Isle of Wight ferry should you wish to whizz over for the day. Beaulieu is only 4 miles away too.
There are super pubs, with East End Arms walking distance across the fields and a short drive to Fleur de Lys and The Red Lion.
If you have a dog, Norleywood Inclosure is on the doorstep and the infamous Hatchet pond, a watering hole for New Forest ponies and donkeys is only a few miles away.
The cottage is as pretty inside as it is outside and equipped with all you would need; the garden is a joy to sit in and gets plenty of sunshine.
The owners, Helen and Peter, are the nicest people you could ever meet and left a beautiful welcome pack with fresh home made bread and cake as well as eggs from their own hens.
So what are you waiting for, book your stay now!

If your looking for a place that’s dog friendly, picturesque and conveniently located then look no further than Keepings Cottage. Helen is extremely welcoming and gets your holiday of to a great start. The accommodation is comfortable and has all you need to help you relax and enjoy the tranquil atmosphere of the New Forest. Just a short drive from a number of beautiful places to visit, walks on your doorstep and some nearby pubs that serve good food, what more could you ask for.

“Charming clean beautiful and ultra dog friendly”
Reviewed 26 May 2018 for a stay in May 2018

We booked Keepings because of its location a short drive from Lymington and the New Forest and we weren't disappointed! The wow factor when first seeing it was amazing, once inside it was apparent we would want for nothing and arriving late greatly appreciated the welcome basket and contents of the fridge which was topped up by Peter. Helen the perfect host was very friendly and informative plus the info pack is a must read. Our stay was very relaxing and enjoyable and after our days out a great place which we looked forward to retuning to. This location is perfect for getting away from it all and if you wish an amazing number of proper old country inns are close .For anyone who is Gluten free I have never been anywhere with so many GF menus topped off with a totally Gluten free pub 30 mins drive and dog friendly too.The Compass in at Winsor. Keepings a must see and a must stay! We will definitely be back.

“Chocolate box cottage”
Reviewed 11 April 2018 for a stay in March 2018

Where do I start, a idyllic thatched cottage set in the beautiful surroundings of the New Forest. Helen and Peter are the perfect hosts offering advice from local walks and pubs to day trips to to the Isle of Wight!
The cottage was certainly dog friendly with a secure garden, yet was spotlessly dean.
A fully equipped kitchen made it a pleasure to cook meals and enjoy a glass or two of wine in evening in front of the log burning stove.
Enjoyed many a great meal in the local dog friendly pubs.

Certainly a home from home, already booked our return holiday

“Home from home”
Reviewed 28 February 2018 for a stay in October 2017

We love Helen, Peter and the cottage. We discovered this cottage the first year it was open and have stayed twice a year since, so in June this year it will be our 10th visit. The cottage is fantastic and perfect for a relaxing break with lots of great walks, Keepins is really dog friendly they have welcomed my 9 1/2 stone boy with open arms. The cottage is right in the middle of the forest with the cows and Donkeys visiting the gate daily. We could not recommend the cottage more it is everything we need to escape from our normal busy life. Helen, Peter & Lil see you all soon.
