Description: We are a traditional British fish and chip restaurant and takeaway. Serving premium cuts of cod, haddock and plaice, all served in our own special crispy batter. We use only premium products and constantly review the market to improve products where we can. Our shop has been fully refurbished to provide a pleasant and comfortable dining experience.

We had decided to have take away fish and chips. The fish was very flavoursome. The chips could have been crisper. The real disappointment was in paying for some tartare sauce and finding when we got back that it had not made it into our bag. Buyer beware

My wife and I decided to eat in at this restaurant, and we were not disappointed. We both had a Senior special - cod, chips and peas, bread and butter, and tea or coffee, for £5.95. Beat that!

Chips were cold and greasy, it was barely 7oclock and they had run out of pies, they are open until 9pm. The curry sauce was watery, overall unpleasant.

We loved the fish and chips from here while staying in
Lymington. It was great to sit down by the Quay and take in
all the sights in the early evening whilst eating the best
fish and chips we had had in a long while. Bliss!

Used to be a great fish and chip shop so not sure what has happened. Chips are no longer crisp and fish batter over cooked on the outside but mushy on the inside. I like to support local businesses but will have to give this a miss for a while.

We are very disappointed that you had such a poor experience. We are working very hard to ensure that our food is of the highest standard and CONSISTENTLY high standard and that is obviously not yet the case. Feedback is all important and helps us to improve. I urge all of our customers to come back and tell us if they are unhappy with what we served, and please, please bring the food back so that we can see exactly what the issue is and of course refund your money. I do hope you visit again and that you have a better experience more in keeping with the feedback we get from the majority of our customers.
