As locals to the area, this is one of our guilty pleasures, coming here on our days off when the weather is glorious to enjoy the view, soak up the sunshine and be part of a lively atmosphere. The place is full of holiday makers in peak season and they, along with the youngsters making up most of the visible staff make the place what it is. The food is great, if a little pricey but on balance with the surroundings, we don't mind paying a little more than usual when we do come here.
There is an ice cream hatch on the side serving New Forest scoop icecream which, to be frank, could do with being sped up a little as the queue moves incredibly slowly but all in all, a nice little place.
