It is in a great spot, the food is reasonable pub grub particularly if you go for the roast dinner.which is nice.
Don't do if you have children even if well behaved as ours actualy is. The landlord doesnt like them. After many visits with low level unfreindliness and unelpfulness that I have overlooked it the last time was just too blatent getting a laugh from his mates while saying to his dog theres lunch for you today while pointing at my 3yo. If he had even looked our way as he said it I might have accepted it with a laugh as the dog seems freindly enough but we didn't warrent even a glance as we were not his sailing or rugby clique just people who he thinks will spend our money there even if he is rude.
Dont go if you want a clean toilet - or worry that pubs that don't keep their loos clean dont keep their kitchens clean.
Don't go if you are two 40something ladies out for a chat and catch up in the winter when the pub is empty except for a few of landlords freinds - not welcome if you disturb his chat to order a drink.
He rakes the cash in so he isn't bothered about people like me and it is just so obvious.
