We had a very memorable 29th anniversary on board Spook and were exceptionally well looked after by the friendly and professional duo, Russ and Andy - such lovely guys who dealt with a potentially awkward situation with calmness, kindness and unending gentle banter. My husband had recently been diagnosed with cancer and, although coping very well, needed a little extra care and compassion which was available in spades. After coffee and pastries (very nice touch!) and a safety briefing, Russ and Andy sailed us over to Cowes for a fab lunch at a restaurant they recommended, joining us for a pre-lunch drink at a pub on the harbour before leaving us to enjoy a wonderful meal. The weather on the return trip was a tad lively, gusting 8 to 10 and we raced back feeling thoroughly exhilarated and completely safe in the hands of our hosts onboard. They are both excellent sailors and have a vast amount of experience and knowledge that they are willing to share, encouraging as much or as little participation as you desire. Do not hesitate to book a day trip or longer, (the facilities are superb; spacious cabins, bathrooms & very well equipped) - you will not regret it! Thanks guys for a truly unforgettable day.
