“A peaceful, beautiful and welcoming home from home.”
Reviewed 21 March 2016 for a stay in March 2016

Rachel and Peter, our 'Loft' hosts where everything we could have asked for with accommodation to match. They were friendly and welcoming and hosted a clean, peaceful and tranquil hideaway flat that catered for all our needs.
The Loft is a few minutes walk from the town centre so everything is accessible without having to get in the car and Lymington was a delight to explore. I have already recommended the Loft to couple of friends thinging of the new Forest as a holiday destination!

“Lovely Loft in Lymington”

The Loft is like a home away from home while in Lymington. The accommodation has been decorated beautifully and is spotlessly clean and comfortable. It is well equipped with a full kitchen, front loader washing machine and plenty of hot water in the shower room. It is a wonderful place to return to after visits to the beautiful attractions in the area which include Milford on Sea and Hurst Castle, Christchurch and its priory, Beaulieu and the National Motor Museum and the Isle of Wight.

LymIngton is a beautiful town with plenty of fascinating shops and marvellous pubs and restaurants. The Loft is located within a very short walk of the High Street and its many attractions. There are many supermarkets within easy walking distance including Waitrose, M&S and Tesco. Lymington has many coffee shops and places to eat. Our favourites included Willow, which is a two minute walk away for coffee and cake, Ciao Belli, a wonderful Italian which also does great coffee, pineapple cake and mushroom and truffle risotto. The Kings Head Pub does a great Sunday roast and burgers at the Thomas Tripp are recommended.

For those travelling without a car, Lymington has good public transport available with a local train and bus service.

We appreciated Rachel and Peter's welcoming and their marvellous hospitality.

“Delightful”
Reviewed 3 December 2015 for a stay in November 2015

We stayed for a long weekend in Nov. Well equipped, nicely furnished self-contained accommodation. Situated just off the High Street. Great market on Saturday, lots of places to eat and drink, and lovely walks along the coast and through the marshes. Didn't touch the car once we'd arrived. Welcome pack of milk, tea, coffee and homemade shortbread was lovely. Rachel and Peter were very friendly and knowledgeable.
My one comment would be to mention the ceiling height in the kitchen/diner. Whilst it wasn't a problem for us (hence the excellent rating) it might be for someone over 6ft tall.
Would love to return for longer to use as a base for exploring the New Forest.

“Extremely comfortable and peaceful accommodation in the heart of Lymington”
Reviewed 18 November 2015 for a stay in November 2015

We had a lovely stay in The Loft - extremely comfortable accommodation and very quiet despite being minutes away from the High Street. The owners were very helpful and made us feel very welcome.

“Excellent”
Reviewed 1 November 2015 for a stay in October 2015

Stayed during October half term. Everything about the visit was first rate. Lovely, helpful owners, who responded to emails in advance and were extremely friendly during our stay (and returned by post something we had left !).
The Loft is a lovely property in a great location, within a few minutes of Lymington main street (pubs, restaurants, shops etc v close - and good). Parking is excellent and is extremely quiet. Plenty of room in the accommodation, v clean and loads of things to make your stay easy (coffee maker, loads of kitchen utensils, washing machine etc).
We fully recommend and would definitely return.
Can't fault it. Many Thanks
Stephen

The Loft is a true gem of a place owned by a charming couple ,Peter and Rachel who made us feel very welcome on arrival and told us to have full use of their enormous garden.
The rooms upstairs are light, modern and with good kitchen facilities,WiFi and nice furnishing-very comfortable !.
Top position in the town with M&S and Waitrose a short walk away
North and lovely lanes South to explore down to the Marina,Harbour,Pubs.
Most certainly to return!.

“Excellent - and very convenient”
Reviewed 15 October 2015 for a stay in October 2015

Provided just what we required. Very good quality accommodation in an excellent location (100 metres to the high street, short walk to harbour and nature reserve etc.
The owners are very friendly and helpful, and the house garden (overlooked by the Loft) provides great views.
The flat is well equipped with all that is required for short or medium stays.

What we liked best: comfortable, quiet and convenient
What we liked least: there wasn't anything

We look forward to returning soon.
